Nicholas O. Whitley is a seasoned music business professional and founder of Pure Sound Global, a California- and Nevada-based record label and organization, as well as co-founder of DOV Sound LLC. A graduate in Music Business from California State Polytechnic University, Nicholas brings over 20 years of experience blending creative and operational expertise across the music and tech industries.

As a sound engineer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, percussion, piano), he has worked in both digital and analog studios, with proficiency in Pro Tools and a versatile background in genres including rock, Christian, gospel, jazz, rap, and international music. His hands-on involvement spans recording, artist development, booking, contract negotiation, event production, and distribution.

Nicholas’s professional journey includes roles at various record labels, live performances, and a successful career in technology spanning sales, management, and network engineering. His leadership extends to the Christian faith community, having served as Assistant Executive Director of Creative Arts and Worship at Family Community Church. He has volunteered as Music Director and Worship Leader at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Percussionist in Tulare Kings Mass Choir as well as volunteered in other music ministries throughout California’s Central Valley.
